"Ayasofya" Hagia Sophia

from $34.00

free shipping

This building has such an incredible history. Hagia Sophia (/ˈhɑːɡiə soʊˈfiːə/;, was formerly the Church of Hagia Sophia - then a mosque, then a church again, and then a museum. It was built in 537 as the patriarchal cathedral of the capital of Constantinople. Walking through its halls and arches, you have an overwhelming sense of its age as you touch the walls that date back to the 6th century, and take in the marble imported from the 14th century.
