Photographed on a ferry to Büyükada (“Big Island”) in Istanbul. This is my favorite photograph from the winter in Istanbul. The old model of ferry boats have slowly been decommissioned in Istanbul’s regular use between its many docks. However, some are continued to be used between the Princess Islands. This old beautiful wood are breathtaking and so classic. I love the rounded windows and old wood benches that are nostalgic to growing up taking the ferries in Turkey.
