Photographed on Büyükada (“Big Island”) in Istanbul. At the top of the island, there is a reconstructed Orthodox church called “Aya Yorgi” or St. George in English. This a frequented church by visitors. The views from the top of its steep hill are epic and the interior of the church is detailed and extravagant. “Every year on April 23 and September 24, huge crowds of Christians come to Aya Yorgi Church.
